A familiar roofline or a pair of dormer windows can make a small birdhouse instantly recognizable. That is the idea behind my custom house birdhouses: take the details that give your home its character and bring them into a piece built by hand.

The house is the starting point
Send me a few photos of your home showing its shape, roofline and the details you want included. Columns, a porch, windows, shutters and paint colors all help tell me what makes that house yours.
The cottage shown in these photos has dormer windows and black shutters. Seeing the birdhouse in front of the home makes the connection clear. The columned house design has a different character, with its porch and tall front columns.
Choose the details that matter
We go over the design together before I build. Tell me which features you want to see represented and share photos from more than one angle when you can. That gives us a useful picture of the house instead of relying on one front view.
Built by hand in Cabot
I build each birdhouse in my Cabot, Arkansas shop, including its real shingle roof. These are made for the outdoors, with attention to the details that connect the birdhouse to the original home.
The photos show both finished pieces on their own and birdhouses out in the yard. Those views help you see the shape, roof details and how the piece looks alongside the house it represents.
